Facility Specialist (Commercial)

*Job Overview:* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Specialist with a strong background in commercial facility management and HVAC systems.
As a Facility Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, maintenance, and repairs, with a particular focus on HVAC systems.
Your expertise will ensure the efficient and effective functioning of our facilities, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and visitors.
*Responsibilities:* - Manage and coordinate all facility-related activities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failure and downtime.
- Oversee the operation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Monitor and control the facility's energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to oversee and coordinate facility-related projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all facility-related work, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address potential facility-related incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff regarding facility-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management and HVAC systems.
*Qualifications:* - Minimum of three years in commercial facility project support.
- Proven experience in commercial facility management, including experience with HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and facility management software.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications in facility management and HVAC systems are a plus.
