FORBO SIEGLING LLC is looking for an energetic and experienced Outside Sales Representative in the Midwest to join our company to build and develop its sales force.
This is a ground floor sales position, meaning there is tremendous opportunity moving forward with the outstanding sales you generate.
The full territory includes: KC,MO, NE, IO, and SD.
*Purpose of role:*
To achieve and exceed individual sales target within budget and pricing objectives within a defined region.
Strive to achieve maximum sales volume within market segments with both product lines and services.
*Tasks and Duties:*
BASIC FUNCTION: The basic function of the position includes but is not limited to the following:
- Meet or exceed established sales goal through effective territory management.
- Call on customers and prospects in an effort to maintain and grow individual sales territory.
- Successfully present products and services to prospects and customers.
- Comply with corporate pricing policies.
- Participate in the development of annual Marketing Plans and Strategic Objectives.
Define, qualify and quantify product requirements/opportunities.
- Attend and actively participate in national, regional and local trade events as directed.
- Foster customer relationships to increase purchasing loyalty with company.
- Facilitate sales growth through product presentations and project consultations to specifying influences: engineers, R&D, maintenance, purchasing, management and other decision makers as needed.
- Optimize relationships with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and all related departments throughout.
- Carry out all activities within Expense Budget guidelines.
*Requirements:*
*WORKING CONDITIONS:*
Position requires, but is not limited to the following demands/factors:
*Physical:*
*Frequent walking and/or standing, stooping, reaching, crouching, twisting, and pulling using light to medium force while inspecting / surveying customer’s premises for belting and accessories needs.
This includes climbing on, over, or under customer machinery or equipment.

* Ability to complete up to 4 – 5 customer sales visits a day.
* Frequent use of laptop and phone.
* Frequent driving.
* Clear verbal communication skills.
* Able to read and verify accurate information (i.
e.
numbers, dates, measurements, etc.
)
* Lifting up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to complete field installations either with the assistance of the field service team or individually.
*Environmental:*
* Typical business office setting while working from home, travel within territory up to 70%
* Possible exposure to dust, heat, cold, mechanical, electrical, chemical or other special hazards depending on customers’ facilities.
*Protective Clothing/Devices:*
* As required for customer site visits and interaction with manufacturing/fabrication area.
Qualifications of Sales candidates:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Sales experience preferred.
* Strong communication skills, articulate clearly both in a written and verbal format.
* Ability to work with a variety of people and personalities.
* Display confidence, be a team player and a quick learner.
* Ability to understand and comply with policies, procedures and safety requirements at all times.
* Ability to calculate and convert necessary dimensions for onsite customer applications
* Must be available for travel as necessary as well as for training, meetings, etc.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, and various other PC Programs

Pay: From $65,000.
