Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Inbound Sales Representative to provide crucial sales support to our hardwood flooring company.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing an exceptional customer experience by handling administrative tasks, managing communication, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.
You will assist with various administrative and sales tasks related to lead follow-up, scheduling, order processing, logistics, customer support, and service management.
The role requires exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sales Support: Engage in lead generation activities.
Collaborate with Outside Sales Rep to provide sales support, including new customer follow-up, and sales appointment scheduling.
Assist sales representatives with order processing, quotes, and customer inquiries.
Maintain and update customer databases with relevant information.
Operations Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and coordinate hardwood flooring projects.
Contribute to developing and implementing process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and field operations.
Customer Interaction: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication, follow-up, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing information on products, services, and order status.
Address customer concerns and ensure a positive customer experience.
Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads and maintain customer relationships.
Order Processing and Tracking: Efficiently process hardwood flooring material orders, ensuring specifications, quantities, and pricing are accurate.
Coordinate deliveries and track orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely updates to all relevant parties.
Documentation and Reporting: Assist in compiling data for sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and propose improvements.
Utilize a CRM to ensure all customer data and interactions are captured, and documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including managing emails, phone calls, and office supplies.
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on sales and operational processes.
Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of wood flooring products, including different wood species, finishes, and installation methods.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote hardwood flooring products through various channels.
Work closely with the outside sales team to align strategies and support their efforts.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to achieve common objectives.
Hardwood Flooring Expertise: In-depth knowledge of hardwood flooring products, including wood types, finishes, installation techniques, and maintenance would be helpful but not required.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, and Forms.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales softwares to manage customer data, generate quotes, and customer follow-up.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
