You are responsible for leading the work that is the vital connection between the project design and the construction team including maintaining CoConstruct's accuracy and timeliness for all jobs, receiving the Pricing Set of architectural plans, reviewing and revising (as needed) the architectural and structural plans for accuracy, buildability, and conformance to the Clients desired specifications.
The Operations Manager's experience, organization, leadership abilities, and charisma are essential.
You will use best practices, communicate with our clients and trade partners, and organize, schedule, and document each job through CoConstruct, our building software.
Responsibilities:
Receive and review architectural and structural plans for accuracy, buildability, and conformance to client specifications.
Collaborate with the Estimating Manager and Project Coordinator to prepare project budgets and estimates.
Manage and document project information using CoConstruct, our building software.
Coordinate with the Company Manager for plan reviews and approvals.
Obtain necessary permits and schedule construction activities.
Monitor project progress and update schedules as needed.
Issue change orders to clients when required.
Validate and process invoices following purchase orders.
Support construction managers in material delivery and vendor coordination.
Observe overall operations and uphold the Company's obligations.
Ensure quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction through periodic site visits.
Recruit trade partners as needed.
Participate in company team meetings and provide comprehensive job updates.
Uphold company safety policies and promote a culture of safety on the job.
Assist in updating the company's online project schedule and uploading photos.
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is required.
Previous experience in construction or construction project management (+5 years).
Deep understanding of construction principles and practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using CoConstruct or similar building software.
Knowledge of architectural and structural plans.
Familiarity with budgeting and estimating processes.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Commitment to upholding safety standards.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Salary & Benefits:
Full-time
Starting salary at $65,000.
00 - $85,000.
00 base per year + bonus and incentives, commensurate with experience.
Flexible schedule but typical business hours are Monday - Friday.
