QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management
4+ years of experience with heavy civil or marine estimating
Knowledge of civil engineering and construction principles, equipment capabilities, regional suppliers and subcontractors, and specification requirements
Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, and Buildertrend or similar estimating software
Willingness to travel to local job sites, client locations, and company meetings

As a Project Estimator, you can expect a fast-paced work environment that keeps you engaged and motivated.
Your goal is to skillfully handle all stages of the estimating process and help secure profitable construction projects for our company.
Collaborating with project management, designers, vendors, and subcontractors, you collect as much job information as possible to create accurate, comprehensive estimates.
You take into account factors such as labor, project location, and timelines while actively searching for ways we could cut costs.
When you've completed your estimates, you help decide what projects to bid on.
You make sure to meet all deadlines, ensure high work quality, and strive to exceed client expectations.
As needed, you jump in to support your team with other tasks.
