*Responsibilities*:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.
* Identify and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Evaluate and select appropriate equipment and technologies to enhance production capabilities.
* Design and develop manufacturing fixtures, tools, and equipment.
* Conduct time and motion studies to improve production line efficiency.
* Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
* Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
* Participate in new product development projects, providing input on manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
* Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
* Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for quality-related issues.
* Perform regular quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection and testing procedures.
* Maintain and ensure compliance with Quality Management System.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
* Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address quality improvement projects.
* Train and mentor production personnel on quality control processes and standards.
* Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
* Ability to travel up to 25% to Lenexa, KS
* 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and quality engineering roles.
* Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.
).
* Experience with quality control tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, etc.
).
* Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.
