As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding its staff and seeking an Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join the FSG - Kansas City team.
*JOB DESCRIPTION*
As an Industrial Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for the proper function of industrial electrical equipment by inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and updating all electrical systems and components.
The ideal candidatewill have previous Industrial and Maintenance experience, a solid employment track record, and demonstrate integrity and reliability.

The Industrial Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for:
· Installation of rigid conduit (bending and threading)
· Control wire labeling and terminating
· Installation of electrical gear and transformers
· Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated controls
· Understand Arc Flash ratings and recommended practices
· Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
· Ability to run small jobs and lead a small crew
· Low voltage and Data experience is a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to successfully pass a background screen
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Availability to work weekends as needed
