*Industrial Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Supervisor*
The Industrial Maintenance Technician at Louisburg Cider Mill is responsible for keeping production equipment operational through trouble-shooting, repairs and general preventative maintenance.
They are tasked with performing this maintenance and repair on all equipment that is related to the manufacturing operation, to include apple unloading equipment, apple processing equipment, related pumps and conveyors, as well as all bottling and packaging equipment in the bottling plant.
Along with this production specific equipment maintenance, the Maintenance Technician also performs troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as air compressors, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers and cooling towers.
The Maintenance Technician will have a general maintenance technician on staff and will work directly with the Operations and Facilities teams to solve any breakdowns and reoccurring problems on production equipment.
They will also serve a critical role in providing input on needed capital improvements.
*Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Supervisor Job Duties:* * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment * Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility * Operate, diagnose, modify and lubricate equipment in accordance with SOPs * Maintain Industrial Controls Systems throughout Process * Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner * Fill in as an operator of production equipment as needed * Create and report repairs throughout shift.
Complete required work order paperwork, document parts and material usage * Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice *Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications:* * Minimum Qualifications: * 3 Years – Experience in Field or similar maintenance environment * 3 Years – Experience in Position * 3 Years – Experience managing people/projects\\ * experience may include a combination of work experience and education * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments * Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook * Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members * Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic * Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools * Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges * Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer * Will need own toolbox and basic tools *Preferred Qualifications:* * 5 Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment * 5 Years – Experience working in Position * 5 Years – Experience managing people/projects * Experience may include a combination of work experience and education * Experience in commodity processing, bottling and/or beverage manufacturing *Experience with the following technologies:* * PD and Centrifugal pumps, along with familiarity with fluid dynamics * Heat Exchangers, hot water boiler systems and general thermodynamics * Rotary equipment such as rotary fillers and cappers * HVAC including chillers and/or air compressors * Experience working with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting * Skilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick) * Skilled working with electrical systems including 480VAC & 24VDC power * Ability to read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work setting: * In-person Ability to Relocate: * Louisburg, KS: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
