The Foreman Structures will be responsible for:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Instill Safety as a top priority.
• Provides on-site supervision and direction to crew members.
• Familiar with project specifications and ability to understand plans.
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
• Ensure crew time cards are filled out and submitted weekly.
• Fill out daily foreman reports.
• Analyze and resolve issues that may arise unexpectedly.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years as a foreman / supervisor in the Highway Heavy Civil Construction Industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools.
• Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs.
• Positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.
• Time management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
Working Conditions
• Travel – This project is located in Kansas.
Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
• Schedule – Work assignment will be weekdays from 7:00am through 3:00pm, with the occasional need to work overtime.
• Construction Site Environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
Lifting and carrying material and objects.
Exposed to high noise levels.
