Job Purpose
Provide maintenance support to ensure continuous line production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
Performs trades work such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair and alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of buildings, plumbing, and or wiring required in the production process.
Make periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary.
Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches as required.
Other duties may be assigned.
No supervisory responsibilities for this role.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to do basic math.
Ability to read, write, and understand the local language.
Possess a valid forklift driver's license.

Education and/or Experience
Five years experience in facility type maintenance or equivalent
Language Skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with people and maintain positive attitude while promoting a teamwork environment.
Mathematical Skills
Working knowledge of shop math.
Reasoning Ability
The ability to read, write and utilize complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas, tools, and a variety of precision measuring instruments.

refrigeration gauges, velocity meter, torch leak detector, wire finder, voltage meter, etc.
)
Computer Skills: PMC and Microsoft e-mail.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Fork truck License, scissor and boom lift training.
Completion of at least the EnerSys Level 1 maintenance trainee certification.
Lockout/Tagout certified.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must be a self-starter and complete work in the most efficient use of time.
General Job Requirements
Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products.
Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead.
Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment.
Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.
5 kilos on occasions.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
