Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Coordinator

Front desk receptionist/patient coordinator located at KC Chiropractic Health Center off I35 and 151st street in Olathe, KS.
Flexible position with growth opportunity.
We are looking for somebody who is available Monday-Friday from approx 1pm-5 or 6pm in the evening.
You will be training/working at the clinic with our 2 Doctors and our office manager.
Mobile/work from home is a possibility when applicant has occasional scheduling conflicts.
Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments - Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system - Provide administrative support to doctors as needed - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with billing and coding processes as required - Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process - Handle any patient concerns or complaints in a professional manner Skills: - Previous experience in a doctors office is preferred but not required - Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
