*About the Member Services Specialist Role:*
Customer-focused skills will enable you to be successful in servicing our members -- updating member records utilizing our association management system, directing customers to and guiding them through APWA’s website for additional information on products and services, suggesting programs, products and services available as a member, processing membership applications, ensuring accurate member data, and supporting association growth through member recruitment and retention efforts.
The member services functions are supported by a team of three dedicated, focused first-contact specialists.
The person in this position will be well-versed in all aspects of APWA with the goal of providing first contact resolution for the majority of contacts.
*What You Will Need to Succeed:*
* Associate degree required
* 2 years of related experience providing administrative support
* Exemplary customer service skills and orientation
* Excellent computer and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
* Strong team orientation
* Ability to prioritize workload, detail-oriented with flexibility to serve customers in a fast-paced environment
* Association experience is a plus
