We are currently on a mission to find a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team.
This position will support the company through efficient billing processes and procedures.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, experienced in planning and managing accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Receives and coordinates all referrals to include notification of insurance providers for prior authorization and services covered
Responsible acquiring authorizations and maintaining documentation in the clinical system
Responsible for entering transport and interpreter invoices into database for payment and billing
Responsible for entering new claimant information into proprietary software
Responsible for setting follow up reminders on rentals for new patients and remaining engaged until case is closed
Responsible for acting as customer service liaison by addressing and resolving issues, questions, concerns or problems raised by clients of the Company
Responsible for shipment and receiving of materials
Assist billing specialists with Accounts Receivable as needed
Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
Care Coordinator is provided to assure continuity of care for the patient/client
Effectively coordinate services with other organizations and individuals also providing care to the patient/client
Works as an effective team member, coordinating with others and contributing to the overall success of the Company
Maintains cooperative and effective workplace relationships and adheres to company Code of Conduct
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
High School diploma required
Minimum 3 or more years' experience in the field or in a related area, or combination of education and relevant experience acceptable
Extensive knowledge of common software programs such as Microsoft Office
Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong decision making and organizational skills
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
High degree of professionalism and personal presence
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
Ability to interact effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license with proof of insurance
